We, women, have played an increasingly strategic role in the evolution of the technology market. Our attentive and sensitive gaze, combined with our innate commitment to perfection in the smallest details, have been essential characteristics for new leaders and that is why, fortunately, we see more and more women in leadership positions.

Over the course of my more than 30 years of professional career, I have learned some valuable lessons that can help other women develop their journey and conquer their spaces.

1. Embrace continuous learning. Keep in mind that technology changes quickly, and those who want to lead need to be constantly updated. Invest in knowledge, whether technical or management, and don't be afraid to explore new areas. It is extremely important for successful leadership to have in-depth knowledge of your segment and, above all, the details of your business.

2. Connect. Build your network of contacts. After all, relationships are essential for everything, and for career growth as well. Connect with other professionals in the field, participate in events, mentoring sessions and exchange experiences with people you admire.

3. Develop communication skills. Knowing how to position yourself and articulate your ideas clearly and strategically helps you gain space and influence decisions. Work on your communication and improve your executive presence. And never fail to prioritize respect for any interlocutor.

4. Trust in your abilities and take your place. Self-confidence is a differential that many women underestimate. Don't wait until you're 100% prepared before taking on challenges. If an opportunity arises, seize it!

5. Encourage others. The path to leadership can be challenging, but it becomes easier when we rely on others. Therefore, share your learnings and promote an environment of inclusion and diversity.

Female leadership in technology is just beginning. There is plenty of room and opportunities for professionals who want to grow in the market. But absolutely nothing replaces hard work. That's why balance is essential for us to be successful professionally and also to be fulfilled as people. Knowing how to balance and balance is essential for success and longevity.
