To contribute to the advancement of a public policy agenda for digital transformation and innovation in Brazil, ABES launches the THINK TANK ABES – Center for Intelligence, Public Policy and Innovation, which was born with the mission of bringing together a team of qualified researchers, who will be invited to reflect on trends, study, debate and propose solutions for the country's main challenges, bearing in mind that new technologies are vectors of profound transformations. The team of directors, advisers and leaders of the ABES committees will also be engaged in the initiatives of this center.

In view of this mission, the THINK TANK ABES aims to promote the generation of knowledge based on research, capable of contributing to the advancement of a public policy and innovation agenda in Brazil, with a focus on building a Digital and Less Unequal Brazil. We hope to position ourselves as one of the main centers of debate on important topics for the country, contributing to the development of the technological sector and society as a whole.

The center will stimulate dialogue between the various actors involved in the science and innovation agenda, in order to promote positive changes for the Brazilian ecosystem. In this way, ABES strengthens its position as a national reference in the direct interlocution with several government agencies that act in the formulation of public policies in the municipal, state and, mainly, federal spheres; with Academia, Institutes of Science and Technology and civil society – aligned with the quadruple helix model and the development of collaborative networks.

The themes that will be worked on in the THINK TANK ABES are:
