Under the theme “Information Technology in Tax Reform”, the associations representing the IT, ICT and Telecommunications (Telecom) sector held this Tuesday (10), from 8am to 10am, at the Senado Federal Restaurant (Brasília-DF) , a breakfast attended by parliamentarians, including senators Eduardo Gomes (PL) and Izalci Lucas (PSDB), and leaders of technology entities.

Andriei Gutierrez, Vice President, Marcelo Almeida, Director of Government Relations, and Rodrigo Jonas Fragola, advisor, represented ABES at this event and participated in the debate, which aims to expand the discussion on how digital technologies can boost growth in the country.

ABES understands that discussing Tax Reform is essential to guarantee the simplification of taxes, without increasing the tax burden and with more legal certainty. A reform that promotes tax justice must be sought, stimulating economic growth and digital transformation and, at the same time, reducing bureaucracy, social inequality and the obstacles that companies face in meeting their tax obligations.
