As part of the LGPD adaptation project, ABES – Brazilian Association of Software Companies promoted, on August 4th, the LGPD Training, which aims to bring to ABES employees and partners content related to data protection, privacy and information security. The training was given by Carlos Eduardo Reolon, Daniella Caverni, Franscisco Espuny and Thomaz Côrte Real, who are part of the team of instructors for the course on the General Data Protection Law, offered to the market by ABES Academy.

The purpose of the training is to promote a culture of data protection, provide an essential theoretical basis on the LGPD, the importance of privacy and data protection, as well as guide on good practices in the treatment of personal data, in order to mitigate risks of breach. data”, says Thomaz Côrte Real, the association's legal advisor.

Encouraging a culture of data protection and complying with the legal framework are objectives aligned with ABES' purpose of contributing to the construction of a Brazil Digital and Less Unequal, in which information technology plays a fundamental role in the democratization of knowledge and the creation of new opportunities for all, in an inclusive and egalitarian way.
