Green startups accelerated by Hub Green Sampa, linked to the development agency, will have free access, for six months, to ABES programs and tools

ABES – Brazilian Association of Software Companies announces another partnership in favor of innovative Brazilian entrepreneurship. The agreement signed with the São Paulo Development Agency – ADE SAMPA provides for cooperation between the entities, through the ABES Startup Internship Program, encompassing a series of services, programs and tools offered by ABES that will be available to green startups accelerated by Hub Green Sampa (linked to ADE SAMPA) for six months and free of charge.

For Rodolfo Fücher, President of ABES, this partnership will increase the success rate of startups accelerated by Green Hub Sampa. “We will support entrepreneurs and share our solid experience in the technology area. These companies have an important role to play in society and can act in favor of preserving the environment, reducing inequality, valuing diversity and solving social problems. Therefore, we will make available our tools to increase the adhesion of startups accelerated by Green Hub Sampa to a management model that is conducive to sustainable development, guided by good ESG practices and policies”, explains Fücher.

The main focus of the partnership is to provide startups with access to legal and tax shifts, and also encourage networking with companies in the sector, by participating in one of the 12 thematic committees, such as LGPD, IA, Cyber Security, Regulatory and Public Procurement. In addition, the participants of the ABES Internship Program will have access to the LGPD Diagnostics – free online tool offered in partnership with the EY consultancy, which allows the assessment of processes and their adherence to the General Data Protection Law -, to Promotion Guide and Sustainability Diagnosis – a tool supported by nationally and internationally recognized references implemented by institutions such as IBGC, Ethos, Global Compact and GRI and guided by the Sustainable Development Goals to achieve the United Nations 2030 Agenda. They are also invited to participate in the “Mobilization for the Reduction of Inequality“, a campaign in partnership with ReUrbi and Observatório do Terceira Setor, whose objective is to support social inclusion projects that promote training in the digital area, through resources obtained from the recycling of IT equipment discarded by companies. This initiative is in line with recent discussions at the climate summit, and is aligned with the 8 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the Global Compact of the United Nations (UN), and the best ESG practices.

"The action is intended to help emerging companies, which use technology intensively and wish to operate or expand their activities, to overcome the complexities present in the market, making available to program participants the association's more than 35 years of experience in the legal and regulatory areas, tax and marketing”, says Clara Savelli, responsible for the relationship with ABES associates.

For startups whose purpose is to generate innovation in addition to developing themselves, this is the opportunity to have access not only to services and research offered by ABES, but also to partnerships and possible commercial agreements. According to Jamile Sabatini Marques, Director of Innovation and Development at ABES, the initiative aims to strengthen entrepreneurship and bring more competitiveness to companies. “Partnering with incubators, accelerators and investment funds allows us to identify startups that need the services we already make available to members. We want to contribute more and more to the development of companies and boost the national technology and innovation market”, he says.
