Analysts point out that telecommuting should continue after the pandemic as an integral part of the business model of companies in different segments. Information security companies point out that cyber attacks continue to grow, with cybercriminals using Covid-19 as "bait" for malware distribution.

In Brazil, the entry into force of the General Data Protection Law should even be postponed, as there is already an MP signed by the president of the republic and a bill approved in the Federal Senate. However, this does not mean that an organization will not be punished if any data leaks occur. On May 10, a group of hackers, called Digital Space, threatened to expose information from thousands of civil servants and members of the Armed Forces, including sensitive data.

These are some of the critical points that will be discussed in the New Times webinar: A technological approach to cybersecurity, risk management and data protection, which ABES will hold on May 19, at 6 pm, with a team of renowned speakers, who will talk about advanced solutions for cybersecurity, data protection, how to manage cloud risk, the sophistication of cyber attacks, Brazil in the scenario of cybercrime and cybersecurity, among other topics.
