The events will take place in the cities of São Paulo, Florianópolis, Recife, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro between January 10th and 22nd to publicize the call for startups open until the end of January
Together with the BNDES, Wayra, Vivo's open innovation hub in Brazil and Telefônica worldwide, and Liga Ventures, the first accelerator focused on connecting startups and large corporations in Brazil, start January 10th and 22nd, 2019, a series of roadshows across the country to provide information about the BNDES Garagem Program, its differentials and benefits for startups and entrepreneurs who want to participate.
The events will take place in São Paulo, Florianópolis, Recife, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro during the period, promoting interaction and networking between BNDES, Wayra and Liga teams, and entrepreneurs and startups interested in taking questions and disclose about the call for registration, difference between the Creation and Acceleration Programs, methodologies, partners and benefits. Each meeting will last two hours and registration for access to the event in each city must be done through the links below.
O BNDES Garage Program will be divided into two strands: a project focused on ideas and product development and another that will address businesses already in the traction phase, respectively called BNDES Garagem Criação e Acceleração. Comprised of in-person workshops, individual consultations, specialized content on the pain of companies, day-to-day monitoring, access to the network of mentors, partners, large corporations and investors, the programs will contribute to the generation of business and the growth of companies. In addition to these benefits, selected startups will be entitled to a full office at WeWork Carioca, in downtown Rio de Janeiro.
Startups from all segments of the economy can apply for both aspects of the BNDES Garagem Program, with special attention to the areas of health and well-being, social and environmental sustainability, creative economy, security, financial solutions (Fintechs), education, IoT (Internet of Things) and Blockchain. Liga Ventures Created in 2015, Liga Ventures (http://liga.ventures/) is one of the largest startup accelerators in the country and a pioneer in the corporate acceleration and corporate ventures market, with partners such as GPA, Elo, Cateno, Brink's, Porto Seguro, Embraer, Mercedes-Benz, AES Tietê, Intel, TIVIT, Eaton, WebMotors, Sascar, Unilever, Ticket Log, Vedacit, Saint-Gobain and more than 11 thousand startups in its database.
