onthespot, a Telefónica group company specializing in digital solutions for physical retail, will bring its technologies of the future to Vivo's first concept store. The company will be one of the partners in the first unit that the cell phone giant opened at its headquarters in São Paulo last Wednesday.
 
The store has a diversity of solutions and technologies inspired by e-commerce and that dictate the trends of the stores of the future. This new shopping experience center is now available for customers and consumers to visit and is equipped with interactive screens with dynamic content, social wi-fi, musical ambiance service, people counter, digital magazine and interactive catalog for consulting devices and Vivo plans.
 
“This is a revolution in physical retail. We are bringing to this store an arsenal of technologies that will allow Vivo customers and consumers a unique shopping experience”, says Antonio Saramago, the company's country manager in Brazil. “People will be able to access Vivo's information and products in a more interactive and dynamic way, and managers will be able to monitor their customers' purchase behavior and manage the point in real time”, he adds.
 
Acting as an integrator, onthespot operates its Digital Signage projects from end to end. “We define the technologies to be applied in the stores, implement and manage the screens, create the content and produce reports on the data captured at the points of sale to support managers' decision-making, in a unique operation of its kind in the Brazilian market. ”, concludes Saramago.
