At the end of last year, Totvs launched the Analytics Challenge Powered by GoodData, during the RD Summit event, in Florianópolis (SC). The objective was to encourage companies that develop Software as a Services (SaaS) to create a product using the technology of GoodData, a North American company that provides a cloud data analysis platform, a partner of Totvs since 2013.

For five weeks, applicants received consulting and technical support to adapt their solutions to American technology. As it is an open and cloud-based platform, GoodData allowed participating companies to create new modules within their software, so that their resources could interact directly with the analytics functionality.

After analyzing four main questions (business application, usability, market potential and use of technology), the judging panel chose Project Builder as the winner, with the Project Business Intelligence solution.

The winning project management software was developed with the objective of facilitating the routine of managers in making strategic decisions for the business, in addition to showing the main impacts on business metrics, such as ROI, innovation cycle, revenue growth and operating cost reduction. The solution arrived this month, less than 60 days into development.

“We know how much correct data analysis can contribute to a company's healthy productivity. Therefore, we are always concerned with offering the most modern business intelligence platform. Choosing Project Builder reinforces the value that a product based on Big Data can generate for our customers' businesses”, highlights Marilia Rocca, Vice President of Business, Cloud and Infra Services at Totvs.
