The Vatican launched Scholas.Labs, a program to accelerate educational projects and support tech entrepreneurs committed to innovation and education. The program is open for individuals and startups from all over the world to post their education technology projects.
 
A committee of world-renowned experts will evaluate each project that, if selected, will enter the acceleration phase. From then on, experts will accompany the project for four months, offering guidance, funding, visibility, and other benefits that will allow turning the idea into a concrete solution. Scholas' initiative is integrated by several technology companies: Globant, Google, Telecom Argentina Group, Microsoft, Line64 and Grupo Papaya. In this first year, Scholas Labs intends to guide 10 projects aimed at inclusion and integration, involving fewer resources.
 
The first Scholas.Labs project will be Scholas Citizenship, jointly developed by Globant and Line 64. This project aims to create an online space to share the problems of high school students, encouraging their participation and social, civic and social engagement. political. Its aim is to generate a field approach to city problems.
 
Néstor Nocetti, Vice President of Corporate Affairs and co-founder of Globant, added: "Scholas represents for us the opportunity to integrate education projects in all regions through technology. We are very excited to be able to join and participate with the Scholas Cidadania, which will seek to generate a virtual space to share specific problems of student communities around the world, encouraging their participation and social, civic and political engagement."
