Thomas Wyatt will be the new Segment President, and Inbal Shani will be the new Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Twilio has just welcomed two new team leaders who will report directly to the company's CEO, Khozema Shipchandler. Thomas Wyatt will be the company's new Segment President, and Inbal Shani will be the new Chief Product Officer (CPO) for Twilio's communications division. These appointments, focused on Twilio's two business units – Communications and Segment – signal the company's continued focus on combining communications, data and AI to unlock value for its customers.

Wyatt is a business, product and GTM leader with exceptional experience in AI and data analytics. It has a strong track record of building and expanding businesses. He joins Twilio from People.ai, where he served as Chief Product and Strategy Officer, overseeing strategy, product management, design and business development. He also served as director of marketing and strategy at AppDynamics and held various leadership roles at Cisco for 14 years, including vice president and general manager of the Cloud Analytics Group.

Shani joins Twilio from GitHub, where she served as Chief Product Officer, driving the platform's product-led growth strategy and AI revolution. Prior to GitHub, Shani also held product leadership roles at AWS, Microsoft, and TomTom. She brings a proven track record of designing and delivering technology products, is deeply passionate about optimizing the developer experience, and is immersed in the rapid evolution of LLMs and AI models.
