TSEA Energia updates technology park to improve service

With Brasoftware's advisory work, the company migrated to Microsoft's Office 365, solving mobility and communication issues

TSEA energia, a company that operates in the energy transmission and distribution market in all regions of Brazil and in the world, updated the technology park of its four plants, distributed in the states of Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Paraná, with the implementation of the Microsoft Office 365. Through the consultative work of Brasoftware, one of Microsoft's main partners in Brazil, the company improved communication between employees, improved mobility, centralized IT management and started to have greater governance of technology assets.

“With the new solution, we were able to communicate in a much easier and faster way. Office 365 has given us the reduction of physical barriers between our offices and factories, lower costs, especially for physical travel, now that we hold meetings via Skype, for example. We modernized the entire technological park of the company to improve our business and serve our customers that are spread all over Brazil more efficiently ”, says Ricardo Baldo, coordinator of the Information Technology area at TSEA Energia.

The change process started in August 2018. At the time, diagnostics and technical studies were carried out to technologically address the pain of TSEA. “We mapped out all the opportunities that could be improved in the company and decided to use Office 365 to provide users with a productivity and collaboration tool accessible on a multiplatform and anywhere, solving mobility and communication issues faced by TSEA. After two months, the migration was already concluded ”, says Leonardo Sousa, manager of Microsoft Cloud Solutions at Brasoftware.

With the end of the adoption of the new technology, the next step will be to train the TSEA Energia team, engaging employees in workshops and training to improve the skills of professionals in this new tool. “The project does not end with the migration from the old technology to the new one, we can explore all the potential that the tool offers for the company and enhance the use of the solution. We count on Brasoftware's expertise to help us at that moment ”, concludes Baldo.
