Cities in the state of São Paulo are embracing the digital transformation of their services and processes, aiming to make their operations more efficient and save significant financial resources. This trend not only reflects a growing global need to improve the environment and quality of life, but also demonstrates a commitment to innovation and administrative modernization.

A striking example is the adoption of the platform 1Doc, which allows the transformation of processes, documents and the offering of online services. This tool has been fundamental in accelerating processes, increasing transparency and improving communication between public administration and citizens.

In the city of Araçatuba, for example, over 600 services are now available digitally, resulting in expected monthly savings of approximately R$ 155,616.43. In American, the “Americana Inteligente” program, implemented in 2020 in partnership with 1Doc, has already saved more than R$ 25 million in storage costs and significantly streamlined municipal processes.

In President Prudente and Pindamonhangaba, digitalization has brought similar benefits. Presidente Prudente offers more than 800 online services, drastically reducing the waiting time for opening a business from 90 days to just 45 minutes. In Pindamonhangaba, the annual spend of R$ 4 million on printing was efficiently reduced, allowing for a faster response to citizen demands.

In addition to the financial and operational gains, the digitalization of public services also contributes to the preservation of the environment, reducing the consumption of paper and other natural resources. With estimated savings of almost R$ 352 million per month in avoided printing, São Paulo city halls can redirect these resources to priority areas such as education, health and infrastructure.

These advances show not only the potential of digital transformation to improve government efficiency, but also the commitment of local authorities to better serve their citizens and promote sustainable development throughout the state of São Paulo.
