Totvs started the development of prototypes in the no touch concept. The objective is to bring to the corporate world countless possibilities of using technology without putting their hands on the keyboard or mouse. Results measured to date demonstrate increased productivity and a better user experience. The initiative takes place in controlled environments, at first, in the agribusiness and health segments.

Through Intel's Real Sense camera, Totvs has developed solutions that promote efficiency in work routines. For the agribusiness sector, for example, the company tested the no-touch technology in auto repair shops. The system recognizes the user by facial identification and, from login, all commands are by gestures or by voice. In this way, the mechanic selects the work order that will start and, at the end, indicates whether it was fully fulfilled or, if not, justifies the reason through the transcription of voice in text, performed automatically by the tool. With this support, there is no more time wasted in cleaning hands to handle computers, which are now more durable, even reflecting in the reduction of company costs. The concept has already been tested in a real environment and has shown very positive results.

For the Health segment, the company designed a prototype that uses facial recognition to allow and initiate the nurse's access to the patients' electronic medical record. As soon as you enter the room, the beacon installed on the tablet used by the nurse identifies your presence and activates the camera, which authorizes and records your login into the system. From there, the cycle of the 5 nursing rights begins. At each stage – patient, medication, time, route and dosage – the nurse confirms by voice or, if she can't make any noise, just a positive sign to move on to the next stage. The goal is to bring even more safety to the hospital environment, especially in compliance with nursing rules and hygiene of hands and gloves.

Another benefit of no-touch technology is accessibility. The camera is able to recognize eye movements or eyelid blinks. In this way, a person with limited mobility, for example, can also use the system.
