New feature allows retail chains, customers of the TOTVS Omni by Moddo solution, to sell directly on the Mercado Livre platform, reducing fees and delivery times

TOTVS, one of the largest technology companies in Brazil, announces a partnership with Mercado Livre, a leading company in technology for e-commerce and financial services in Latin America, which allows retailers to automatically make their offers available in the marketplace, taking a step even more towards omnichannel experiences.

With the partnership, customers of the TOTVS Omni by Moddo solution will be able to offer their stocks and market their products in a simple way, integrating data between platforms, ensuring greater control and number of sales. In addition, the registration processes between the systems are now fully integrated and automated. Thus, physical stores begin to act as distribution centers within the Mercado Livre platform, being able to reduce costs - such as delivery fees - and to send products more quickly to customers.

“We are excited to support platforms like TOTVS, which foster small and medium-sized businesses in our country. With the partnership, we also advanced in our objective of expanding the assortment of products offered in the Free Market and of continuing to improve the shopping experience of our customers, so that it is more and more convenient, fast and accessible ”, highlights Fernando Yunes, Vice- President of the Free Market in Brazil.

“Today, it is almost impossible to say that there are customers of virtual stores and physical stores only. This partnership promotes and integrates experiences, enabling the TOTVS Omni by Moddo customer to have the quality of Mercado Livre as its sales channel, at the same time that it starts to act as a distribution center. This allows the end consumer to gain in shopping experience and have shorter delivery times and rates, ”says Elói Assis, director of retail and distribution at TOTVS.

TOTVS Omni by Moddo is not exclusive to customers of TOTVS systems, and can be contracted separately by any retailer interested in the tool and integrated into their system of preference.
