Companhia Dasa Empresas turns to the Cloud Managed Services (CMS) of the Brazilian technology multinational to gain scalability and increase productivity in up to 90%

Dasa Empresas, which acts as a strategic partner in the corporate health market, contemplating benefits consulting, health coordination and business solutions to transform people's health, through technology, data intelligence and medical performance, resorted to the Cloud unit Solutions by TIVIT, a Brazilian multinational and one stop shop of technology, for migration and management of solutions in the cloud.

Acquired at the end of 2020, the company was still known as Gesto Saúde and needed greater scalability in its infrastructure, seeking to increase productivity. For this, he hired the Cloud Managed Services (CMS), TIVIT's service offering for migration, onboarding and management of public and hybrid cloud solutions.

The project was designed and executed in partnership with Google Cloud Platform through agile methodologies, associated with an integrated DevOps process, a culture that brings together developers and operators to align and optimize deliveries according to business objectives. The resizing – or resizing – of the environments, which included dozens of servers and more than 120TB of data, was carried out in five months by TIVIT's technical support management team and enabled the customer to gain productivity of up to 90% in data processing in the cloud.

“The project was essential and structuring to modernize all our products and build a robust and scalable data platform, making information available through our BI platform with hundreds of indicators to help manage your health portfolio. In some cases, we reached 90% of performance gain in data processing compared to the platform on-premises, in addition to greater visibility and distribution of costs in cloud”, reports Roberto Gaziola Junior, director of Technology at Dasa Empresas.

For Daniel Galante, head of Cloud Solutions and CyberSec at TIVIT, the project with a large company that operates in the health sector reinforces the benefits of cloud computing for this sector. “Knowing the characteristics of the environment of a customer of this size is a great challenge, but fundamental for the cloud optimization process, which directly impacts the performance and, consequently, the cost reduction of an operation that improves service and benefits the user. at the other end,” he says.
