New infrastructure brings more agility, scalability and processing capacity to the company's financial operations

TIVIT, a Brazilian multinational that accelerates business through technology, migrated the food sector giant's SAP financial system to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure.

The client, which has millions of products delivered daily, used its own environment for its SAP system and sought greater scalability for its financial operations, both in terms of data processing agility and information storage capacity – especially during seasonal retail seasons. , which causes sales spikes for supermarkets and other establishments.

The company, which has a national presence, had a strategic partnership with TIVIT to conduct the migration to the AWS Cloud environment and is now able to process a greater amount of data and invoices in less time. The control offered by cloud technology allows you to increase or decrease your digital environment, depending on business needs.

The entire migration process was carried out in 12 hours, with a volume of data transferred exceeding 20 terabytes. The remaining development, approval and production environments were migrated in 30 days. With the support of TIVIT, the client achieved greater scalability and flexibility in the cloud, allowing transactions to be managed and serving the retail sector with greater agility, efficiency and security. With this migration we were able to record a reduction of up to 85% in the time required to perform customer backups.

“The use of cloud technology is strategic for companies that need to deal with a large volume of transactions and want to scale to the digital environment, to have stability and more processing power”, explains Leonardo Piva, Head of Cloud Business at TIVIT.
