OneCloud integrates new governance, security, process automation and proactive cost management features into a single platform, managing multiple clouds as well as on-premises architectures

TIVIT, a Brazilian multinational that accelerates business through technology, announces the launch of OneCloud, a unified platform for managing multicloud environments. The news is part of a package of investments that the company has made in the Cloud area in recent months.

Leonardo Piva, director of the Cloud area at TIVIT

“We are focused on offering increasingly efficient multicloud solutions. Therefore, we present to the market a solution aimed at companies that have already undergone or are undergoing the digital transformation process and wish to have greater governance, security and agility in the management of their cloud or on-premise environments”, says Leonardo Piva, director from the TIVIT Cloud area. Managing a hybrid multicloud infrastructure goes beyond controlling and planning public cloud instances or cloud-native applications in unconnected silos. Systems in non-integrated silos bring greater complexity, difficulties with information security, cloud allocations driven by temporary volume demands and greater complexity in carrying out disaster recovery actions when necessary, adds Piva.

The launch of the platform comes at a time of acceleration in corporate investments in the cloud. According to Gartner, cloud spending worldwide is expected to reach 679 billion dollars this year, and could surpass the 1 trillion dollar mark by 2027. In an environment of increasingly fierce competitiveness, integration and interoperability in multicloud and Hybrids will be essential for data to be effectively used by large companies.

“As cloud investments increase, companies adopt different strategies using multiple public cloud and private cloud providers, creating new challenges for multicloud environments”, notes Carlos Maia, director of Products and Professional Services at TIVIT. Some of these challenges are related to security risks, the high cost of managing different providers, limited visibility into the real costs of the operation, causing waste of resources and decentralization of data and applications in different clouds.

To deal with these challenges, while maintaining the benefits of multiple clouds, OneCloud has three main features:

  • OneCloud Safe: expands visibility into environments, identifying threats and errors before they impact the business. This functionality, based on the pillars of the Well-Architected Framework, aims to centralize data from multiple clouds for control and identification of failures, through validation and scanning of environments, enabling the elimination of configuration errors, reinforcing the structure and efficiency of the architecture in the cloud.
  • OneCloud FinOps: simplifies multicloud financial management, optimizing costs. FinOps functionality is integrated with multiple providers and environments (TIVIT Private Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud and Alibaba Cloud), allowing a centralized, complete and customizable view of infrastructure data, details on costs, health and network usage cloud and promoting predictive analysis, in addition to providing personalized recommendations for better use of resources. The customer will be able to monitor the information daily, in addition to predicting what their cost will be at the end of the month, enabling immediate correction actions.
  • OneCloud Automation: improves cloud infrastructure management by automating essential tasks, facilitating administration and configuration of resources. One-click functionality to start or stop resources and servers, along with the ability to schedule actions, stands out for offering operational precision and efficiency. The tool makes it possible to implement an automation pipeline, reducing the need for manual interventions.

Furthermore, through innovative GreenOps practices, the platform ensures responsible environmental management, reduced energy consumption, as well as visibility for reducing carbon emissions, meeting high sustainability and ESG standards.

OneCloud, as a SaaS platform, is readily available and can be adapted to meet the needs of all organizations. “From small startups to large corporations, the implementation of multicloud strategies demands tools capable of ensuring total governance, minimizing risks and costs, which is provided by OneCloud for public, private or on-premises cloud environments, and this is a big differentiator compared to other market solutions”, emphasizes Maia.
