Company is the first regional provider for SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud

 

SAP has partnered with TIVIT, the leader in integrated technology services in Latin America, making the company the first cloud computing provider for the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud – HEC solution in Latin America.
 
“By establishing this partnership with TIVIT, we will be able to get even closer to customers and explain how SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud allows us to unite the power of data access with the flexibility of the cloud. With this, we ensure that our customers are able to adapt to rapid changes in the market, with lower cost and risk”, highlights Cristina Palmaka, president of SAP.
 
Among other advantages, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud – HEC provides management resources that allow for faster implementations, serving companies that need or want to rely on mission-critical applications in the cloud without any loss in terms of performance, integration, security and operating conditions. recovery in case of failures or natural disasters.
 
This partnership is unique in the regional market, as the qualification to become a SAP Premium Suplier requires a series of validations and certificates, which include advanced levels of security, high availability, operational processes of technology management, infrastructure performance and professional qualification , attributes already present in TIVIT's data centers and operations. It took seven dedicated months of a multidisciplinary team to complete the partnership.
 
“This agreement further qualifies TIVIT's offer and demonstrates the market's confidence and recognition in our SAP and Cloud Computing services. From a business point of view, we expect to double our SAP customer base by the end of 2017”, emphasizes Carlos Gazaffi, vice president of Technology Management at TIVIT. The partnership, which has been available in Brazil since November 2016, will soon also cover other Latin American countries.
 
This move is part of TIVIT's cloud computing offering expansion strategy. The company recently announced an investment of R$ 46 million to build local clouds and expand its portfolio with the adoption of a multicloud model, which offers customers a hybrid solution, combining traditional environments, private clouds and also public clouds.
