ICT at the World Cup and the Olympics is the theme of an event in São Paulo

With the objective of promoting opportunities for insertion of IT companies in the 2014 World Cup and in the 2016 Olympics, the Software Technology Institute (ITS), with the support of CNPq and MCTI, will promote the event “ICT in Great Sports”, at the April 16, 2013, at Maksoud Plaza, in São Paulo.

Technological solutions will be presented that will facilitate access to information about events and complementary services, such as transportation, food, health, among others. "There are already applications that integrate fans through social networks and provide information about the teams. And, also, systems to inform about transport, help people with disabilities and even to offer health care to those who need it", says Descartes Teixeira, president of the ITS board.
The event will allow the meeting between application developers and city halls, engineering and construction companies, in addition to the large IT integrators. The aim is to allow companies to expose their solutions and interact with those interested in acquiring them.
