To this end, the company announced that TIBCO LABS has developed a tool for tracking symptoms of COVID-19 in employees of any company, as part of the TIBCO4Good initiative. TIBCO GatherSmart is a secure and easy management solution for companies of all sizes and industries, supporting them as they return to the workplace, leveraging all the power of the TIBCO Cloud.

GatherSmart brings together the resources of TIBCO LABS and leverages the TIBCO Connected Intelligence Cloud platform, presenting a solution for businesses and communities that understand the importance of proactive monitoring to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, particularly at a time when the economy reopens and people return to the workplace.

Through a mobile app for employees and a dashboard for managers, GatherSmart uses research and analytics data to create a unique perspective on a person's readiness to return to work aligned with the local context. After completing a daily health-related survey form, pre-determined by the manager and based on HR policies and privacy standards, the employee receives a daily digital passport confirming that they have the green light to return to the office.

Managers can use the data to daily view the status of their teams in the office or at home. GatherSmart can also be customized, based on customer requirements, to bring in external regional information and display it on a map. This helps verify that employees are in a “hotspot” with a strong coronavirus outbreak. With just one click, these employees can be warned that it is safer to stay home on a given day.
