IT and Telecom dominate the hiring of temporary professionals

Research shows that the sector represented 23% of hirings in the first half

Temporary professionals in the IT and Telecom segment were the most demanded in the first half of 2013. This is what a survey by Page Interim, a company specialized in recruiting and selecting temporary and outsourced professionals, shows. The area was responsible for 23% of hirings, followed by the Health area, with 15%, and Banks, 11%.

According to Carolina Asevedo, director of Page Interim, the arrival of IT and Telecom startups in Brazil has increased the need for companies to hire professionals. “The slowness and bureaucracy to set up companies in Brazil make startups hire these professionals through our payroll and without the professional being harmed. He receives salary, benefits and has all social charges collected as a normal CLT”, he explains. “In addition, the IT and Telecom sectors are experiencing a moment of expansion, process improvement and service quality”, he adds.
