Senior closes a partnership with Hikvision, integrating its access and security system to the device capable of controlling the entry of people through facial recognition, in addition to identifying the use of a mask and detecting temperature without the need for physical contact
The new scenario brought a series of changes in the way we all live and relate. Many organizations are already starting to think about resuming social and daily activities and how to make this return as safe as possible for the teams. For this, they look for alternative technology to solve this issue, in an agile and effective way.
Senior, a Brazilian company that is a reference in management technology, through its division of access systems and electronic security, in tune with market needs, entered into a partnership with the company Hikvision, a supplier of security solutions and products.
The partnership in Brazil makes Senior one of the first large technology companies in the country to integrate its software Senior Round | Access and Security Management with the Face Recognition Terminal for access control and presence called MinMoe, developed by Hikvision.
Also, as at Senior's headquarters in Blumenau (SC) some employees are gradually returning to face-to-face activities, the company has already implemented the solution at the location, which is where there is the greatest circulation of people in the organization.
“There were 1,825 faces loaded by our Ronda system in just 15 minutes. Our resumption is being gradual, with great tranquility and focusing on all guidelines from official bodies. Currently, we have about 300 employees working at the headquarters and they already have this solution that guarantees more security for those who are in the company's environments”, explains the Senior Access and Security Head, Fábio Nikel.
The equipment (DS-K1T671TM-3XF) works in low light, has anti-fraud technology and is ideal for today, as it works without the need for physical contact. In addition, the device checks the temperature on the surface of the skin and also whether the individual is wearing the protective mask. That is, it identifies the face even with the use of the protection mask, being able to release or not the access according to these pre-established parameters. Due to these characteristics, it is ideal for companies in any sector that have a large circulation of people and are looking for a way to better control access, through gates, turnstiles or doors.
“We closed the partnership with the most modern when it comes to guaranteeing the security of assets for companies allied to the health and well-being of people. Senior already has high quality software, which is a reference in the national market, and now has the possibility of integrating the system with devices that allow protection and guarantee prevention for those who work in the physical space of companies. Technology is increasingly contributing to the search for healthy environments”, explains Senior's Head of Access and Security, Fábio Nikel.
Mario Ma, President of Hikvision do Brasil, explains that due to the new habits, there is a great advantage in the experience of “no touch” recognition. “Hikvision's terminals have advanced deep learning technology, in addition to issuing alerts in case of suspicion of high temperature and several other practical functions, which offer more security and efficiency”, reiterates Mario Ma.
