Pharmaceutical Retail Congress will focus on IT innovations and has support from ABES

The 2016 edition of Expo Pharma will take place on the 21st and 22nd of September, at the Hotel Windsor Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro. For the first time, the fair will feature exhibitors from the Information Technology sector, a topic that will also be highlighted at the Pharmaceutical Retail Congress, fully focused on training and updating entrepreneurs, managers, pharmacists and other actors in the sector. The objective, according to the organizers, is to show that pharmaceutical retail is ready for innovation and how much this investment will result in positive changes, both in dealing with the public and in business success.

ABES, which institutionally supports the event, will also be part of the Technology Panel, with the lecture “Digital tools such as Big Data, Analytics, Cloud Computing, Mobility and Social Networks, also benefit pharmaceutical retail”, which will be presented by Anselmo Gentili, executive director of ABES, on September 21, at 2 pm.

The Technology Panel, which will be led by Araquen Pagotto, president of the Brazilian Association of Automation for Commerce (AFRAC), will also include the participation of the executive director of the Brazilian Association of Information Technology Distributors (Abradisti), Mariano Gordinho; the president of the Brazilian Association of Technology Companies in Digital Identification (ABRID), Célio Ribeiro.
