With Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Synchro started to execute environments and new demands in minutes

After several tests and evaluations, Synchro, one of the main national providers of tax solutions, decided to migrate all the mission-critical data from its customer base to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, a second generation infrastructure in the cloud. The company transferred the information with the transparency, security and control necessary to guarantee the reliability and continuity of the business without risks or interruptions.

Synchro needed to evolve and innovate in order to meet new market demands and requirements with performance, scalability and agility, in the time needed to launch new products/services and customer activation, as well as speed and security in the scheduled maintenance applications.

The solution to these challenges was to select Oracle's infrastructure, which helps them to maintain their fiscal risk control services, following the legislation and profiles of each customer and ensuring maximum performance for everyone. Oracle gains exceeded expectations. Some examples prove this reality:

• Environment recoveries, which previously took up to 4 hours, were performed in 9 seconds;

• New database rollouts and new customer activations, which previously took 1h30min, now run in 1 minute;

• Business-critical operational routines are now executed 3 times faster. This performance is maintained even with the addition of new volumes, ensuring growth and customer service levels, in addition to solving the seasonality problem of the business;

The company's IT team also achieved important results, such as greater access to data, alternatives for customizing customers, connectivity, advanced security features against cyber attacks, in addition to the main point of technological freedom.

"The storage, processing and management capabilities of the databases that Oracle made available to us in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure allowed a leap in quality in the provision of services to our customers, at an extremely competitive price. In addition, the billing in Brazil responded to a fiscal demand that our company has been claiming for a long time," says José Hime, Director of Infrastructure at Synchro.

"We are proud to be together with Synchro in this project, the largest in Latin America with Oracle for a company of this size, meeting all the security and regulatory requirements necessary for the business", highlights Roberto de Souza, vice president of Oracle Digital , Oracle Latin America.
