Park is one of the main innovation hubs in the country; notice is open until August 5th
The Supera Parque de Inovação e Tecnologia, in Ribeirão Preto, is open for registration for technology-based companies that want to participate in its incubation program, carried out by the Supera Incubator for Technology-Based Companies. They can participate from entrepreneurs with ideas still on paper to young companies already established. The selection notice is available on the Overcomes and remains open until August 5th.
The Supera Incubadora is one of the 20 best in the world, according to UBIGlobal (WorldRankings2019 / 2020), and offers support for entrepreneurs to make their innovation projects and businesses viable. “The Incubator offers specialized technical support, providing infrastructure, advice, training and networking. This is the opportunity for new businesses to have all the support that enables their growth ”, explains Saulo Rodrigues, manager of the Incubator.
The purpose of Supera Parque is to encourage innovative businesses with high added value with a vocation in the areas of health, biotechnology, information technology and agribusiness. Companies from other segments can also participate in the innovation habitat, as long as they are technology-based businesses.
SELECTION
The project selection process for SUPERA Incubadora de Empresas consists of stages. First, it is necessary to go through the 'Empreende na Supera' training, in which entrepreneurship and innovation management concepts and tools are shared. Proof of participation in equivalent courses is also accepted. Then, entrepreneurs must register their project on the Gust platform, through the link https://gust.com/programs/processo-seletivo-de-projetos-002-2020. The entrepreneurs classified in the first stage will undergo interviews, with an eliminatory character.
In the next stage, the candidates participate in a new training, the Supera Experience, followed by weekly follow-up and mentoring for approximately 3 months, delivery of the final proposal to the incubator and presentation of the projects for banking at the Demoday. Those approved will be incubated and will receive support from Supera for the development of the business, for at least 24 months.
ENTERPRISE
One of the requirements to participate in the selection of the Supera Incubadora de Empresas is the candidate's entrepreneurial qualification. For that, one option is to participate in the Empreende na Supera course, which will take place online, from July 27th to July 31st. SUPERA PARK - The Ribeirão Preto Innovation and Technology Park, managed by Fipase, is the result of a partnership between the University of São Paulo (USP), the Municipality of Ribeirão Preto and the Secretariat of Development of the State of São Paulo. Installed on the campus of the local USP, the Park is home to the Supera Business Incubator, the Supera Technology Center, the association of the Local Productive Arrangement (APL) of Health, the Industrial Software Pole (PISO), in addition to the Supera Business Center. Altogether, there are 65 companies installed in the Park, of which: 54 of them in the Supera Incubadora de Empresas de Tecnologia Tecnológica; and 11 developments in the Business Center.
