The business journey towards renewing strategies, ways of producing, treating employees and selling products and services is a constant and, at each step, the entrepreneur learns new approaches and increases his knowledge with creativity and innovation.

Conversations are always present and the belief that collaboration can be a vector of competitiveness and social change moves us. We read and listen to new rules and new business models to gain the competitive edge all the time in articles we read and events we attend. This provokes reflections and allows us to envision increasingly sustainable paths towards growth.

At Senior, the repertoire of techniques, practices and concepts that we have collected only confirms that we are on the right path. One of the first initiatives involving employees in favor of a better result in processes and products was SIM – Internal Suggestions for Improvements – which scored the approved ideas and allowed the exchange of points for gifts. Subsequently, we implement projects that seek in employees aspirations for the future that guide the company's Strategic Planning, challenges in favor of more quality and productivity, dynamics that stimulate interaction and the resolution of day-to-day challenges in a collaborative way - such as the Coding Dojo applied to the Development teams and, in a more recent initiative, to the technical writers. For the first time this year, we celebrate Nerd Pride Day with actions designed and organized by employees and we will launch a bold project to encourage startups.

The scenario is one of evolution and, in order to follow this evolution, it is necessary to be open to the new, to changes. Failing to perceive this scenario can make the entrepreneur fall into the myopia trap that prevents him from seeing the whole that stimulates him to create a new world in which collaborative actions are connected to positive results.

People are more collaborative, the world is more collaborative. Taking advantage of this scenario can be the corporate differential of the future. When organizations see employees as partners in their development, the opposite also happens and the relationship between leader and team starts to see the result as an achievement of the group. The action and cooperation of people are fundamental to change the way of managing and, as a reflection of this attitude, it is necessary to recognize the role of organizational culture, perceiving individuals as actors who participate and influence changes.

In 10 years, the forecast is that 40% of the 500 most futuristic and innovative companies today will no longer exist, according to studies released last year at the HSM Forum. So here's the message: those who don't reinvent themselves and invest in the culture of collaboration will have no space in the business future.
