New features streamline access to corporate data without compromising security and governance; Strategy has also developed an intermediate version of the BI+AI platform for small businesses and use in departments of larger companies

Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), a pioneer in integrating Artificial Intelligence with Business Intelligence, is bringing new AI-powered data analysis and management solutions to Brazil. One of the new solutions is designed to bring some of the capabilities of the vendor’s AI-powered BI platform, used by large and medium-sized companies around the world, to smaller companies.

The releases, according to Strategy, allow organizations of all sizes to make the most of their data by moving it between databases, BI tools and cloud providers. All this without the need to restructure the database, thanks to the governance layer that protects data handling and information security.

According to Strategy, a mid-sized organization has at least five different BI tools, generating thousands of different reports and dashboards. Ensuring consistency in this type of environment is a challenge.

Strategy Mosaic is a data management solution that enables companies to connect, govern, and leverage their data across any platform, cloud, or application. It enables users to access information using any reporting tool, without exposing sensitive data to underlying Large Language Models (LLMs).

The tool can access data from hundreds of sources while providing a robust semantic governance layer that ensures a single “source of truth” for the data analyzed by organizations. This is possible because the solution allows security rules to be defined once in the semantic layer so that they are applied consistently across all tools, users and data sources.

For Sandro Henrique Balbuena, new business leader at Strategy Brasil, Mosaic is here to break down the biggest barriers to business innovation: data silos, conflicting metrics, uncontrolled costs of data transformation and integration, and slowness in obtaining insights.

Through a universal intelligence layer, the tool can be used with any cloud provider, reporting tool, and data source. “By combining Mosaic with Strategy’s managed cloud platform-as-a-service, companies of all sizes can leverage AI to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation with trusted insights,” said Balbuena.

Another new feature from Strategy is Mosaic Studio, a feature that uses AI to speed up data modeling and reduce the time and effort required to build advanced semantic models.

“A mid-sized organization typically has more than 100 data sources. 80% of BI and Analytics teams’ time is wasted just on data manipulation. The new functionality will drastically reduce analysis and reporting,” says Balbuena.

The Strategy One platform, which integrates AI with BI, has gained a new version of Auto 2.0, a virtual assistant that allows data professionals and companies to create personalized virtual assistants in a simple way, using generative AI. The tool is also capable of reading and interpreting unstructured data.

With Auto 2.0, organizations can deploy bots that learn from conversational interactions between humans and virtual assistants. It supports threaded conversations in parallel and allows users to ask questions of multiple bots to see all relevant data from multiple perspectives.

“When multiple Auto bots are available, it will interpret the question and select the most appropriate bot from the user’s library. This way, employees never have to interrupt their workflow to switch to another application or spend time choosing between multiple bots to get the information they need,” says Balbuena.

Next-generation AI-powered BI for small businesses and departments

Strategy is also launching the standard edition of Strategy One. This is a mid-tier offering of the BI platform for smaller organizations or for use in business areas of medium and large companies.

Available on AWS and supporting up to 300 users, the Standard edition removes the barriers that prevent smaller teams from leveraging their data through the open, trusted, enterprise-grade analytics available in Strategy One. It also includes Mosaic and Mosaic Studio.
