Faced with the large amount of data being generated by connected devices, and which should increase in the coming years, Stibo Systems, one of the leading companies in the world in the offer of Multidomain Master Data Management (MDM - Master Data Management) solutions, has a strategy focused on offering solutions that allow its clients to manage business intelligence, improving results and quickly adapting to new market needs and dynamics, through the organization, management, cleaning and integration of data.

Ricardo Fornari, Country Manager of Stibo Systems in Brazil, explains that the company has been operating in the country since 2016, and decided to invest in the Brazilian market, even at a time of uncertainty, in order to position itself for when the economic recovery occurs and in front of the growing awareness among managers of the importance of data for the operation of any business.

“We are a niche company. Master data management is the first step on a scale of digital transformation, because without good data quality, no more advanced machine learning, business analytics, artificial intelligence initiatives will deliver value,” explained Fornari.

As Gartner points out, data trust is one of the problems in the current technological scenario and, to trust them, companies need to have a good master data structure, explains the executive. “Companies do not trust this data, as they gather information from multiple sources, which is outdated, not valid, and incomplete. Their use without treatment can contaminate the processes, the generation of insights, the operation. GDM can be used in any vertical, such as retail, consumption, financial sector and industry, as all companies need quality master data to operate and develop their strategies”, he emphasizes.

Regarding Stibo Systems' channel strategy in Brazil, Fornari clarifies that the company works with partners, both for marketing and for implementing solutions. “We are looking for partners on these two fronts and we are already, nowadays, in all Brazilian regions. We are going to maintain our own lean operation, so as not to compete with our partners, but with the capacity to support them in their activities”, he concludes. Netshoes and Saraiva are two of the company's clients in the country.

Headquartered in Aarhus (Denmark), Stibo Systems is a subsidiary of the Stibo A/S group, originally founded in 1974. Worldwide, the company has more than 500 employees in 19 offices. In addition to supporting around 330 companies in dealing with their operational challenges, Stibo Systems has developed specific solutions and best practices for various industries.
