Stefanini decided to increase its operation in Romania as part of the celebrations of ten years in the local market, where it achieved revenues of 17.3 million euros in 2013 and 1,000 current employees in its distribution centers in Bucharest and Sibiu, which deliver IT services to companies in more than 50 countries, mainly USA, Germany and France.
During this period in the region, Stefanini delivered more than 100 IT projects to organizations in different sectors, mainly in segments that the company serves with outsourcing services: pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and professional services.
According to Andreea Stanescu, Director of Service Delivery at Stefanini in Romania, in 2014 a significant number of new customers were added: more than ten companies. “We continue to see potential in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and fast-moving product companies. We expect growth to continue at a similar pace in 2015.”
Service desk projects represent 70% of Stefanini's total business in Romania, followed by application development services (20%), while 10% of the business is represented by infrastructure services.
