Start-Up Brasil, a national program to accelerate technology-based startups, recently announced the 55 companies that will be part of its fourth class. In addition to this, there are so many other very interesting programs to support research and development that are working on accelerating startups across the country. What are the benefits of joining such a program?

Companies that are going through this process can achieve rapid growth. As is evident – and the accelerators make their network structure and network available – they are more likely to close contracts with large clients, bringing a high amount of money to the company's cash flow. As cash flow is essential at this stage, this work is essential to avoid the specter of “crash” in the first years of activity.

Structure, mentoring and contacts form a great support network for companies. But that does not guarantee the success of any startup. Therefore, it is necessary for entrepreneurs to be aware that, at this point, the game has become serious.

The valuation of your company, with the support of the accelerator and the government in the form of grants, can exceed R$ 1 million! Now, they will have investors asking for reports, goals to be met and they will need 'grown up' management.

Natural selection – It is at this moment that we will know who will survive: only the most adapted will overcome obstacles and those who are in this market for glamor or opportunism will not be able to establish themselves!
I am convinced that the essential and decisive factor in any business is human. What will guarantee the real success of a startup are the people who are involved in its day-to-day, the way they face problems, regardless of the support of government programs or direct investment from angels or accelerators.
What value are you preaching in your startup?
