First edition will be ahead Visa, focusing on Fintechs and startups related to the financial sector

Startup Farm, the largest independent accelerator in Latin America, launched the new Startup Farm acceleration program, the ahead. The objective of the program is to take startups from the most initial phase to the level where they present a working product and sales with consistent growth.

Starting in 2017, the startups chosen for the Ahead will undergo a process that will last 6 months and will have three acceleration phases with specific focuses:

Laser focus – 5 weeks: "Full life" immersion for founders to work focused on building their startup's business model, supported by Farm and a wide network of mentors, partners and investors.

Get Sales Done – 5 weeks: in this module the startup will work on building a sales strategy and define the main performance metrics of your business.

Fundraising – 15 weeks: the startup will build an initial projection of capital needs, as well as work on defining the best funding strategy. Throughout this module, the startup will continue working on the development of the product and/or service, as well as improving its performance metrics with the monitoring of the Startup Farm.

After completing the three modules, the startup will be qualified for the Demo Day, an event in which entrepreneurs present their projects to investors and executives from large companies. This event will also be reformulated and will be aimed at an audience of investors interested in investing tickets between R$ 300 thousand and R$ 1 million. The Demo Day will not fail to have the function of presenting the accelerated business to the ecosystem as a whole.

Ahead Visa will seek startups focused on revolutionizing the financial market in the Payments, Insurance, Financial Management, Investments, Funding, Financial Efficiency, Bitcoin, Blockchain, Loans and Debt Renegotiation sectors. Those startups that have services and/or products relevant to the sector will also be able to participate.

Applications are now open and can be done until November 19 at the website acceleration.startupfarm.com.br.
