Program will have Demoday at Futurecom 2016

Startup Farm has opened enrollment for its 17th Acceleration Program. This edition, which will be held at Google's São Paulo Campus, is yet another initiative of the partnership between the accelerator and Futurecom.

This edition focuses on startups whose business model is related to technology topics such as IoT, Telecom, Mobility, Security, Cloud, Big Data, Analytics and Customer Experience. Other projects, from any segment, may also apply. Those that perform best during the Acceleration Program will have the opportunity to present themselves to the market during Futurecom, the largest telecom, internet and technology event in Latin America, which will also host the Demo Day of this edition. Both Startup Farm and ABES are Futurecom partners in 2016.

The acceleration program is structured in two phases. The first consists of five immersive weeks where entrepreneurs accelerate business model validation and are empowered to manage large-scale growth. During this period, companies will also be connected to a strategic network of mentors, investors, large companies and business partners. At this stage, all accelerated startups will be residents of Google's São Paulo Campus and will be able to stay until the start of the next program.

In the second phase, startups are monitored for up to two years in attracting investments and evolving metrics. Companies are introduced to investment funds and can receive an investment from Startup Farm itself.

To register, startups must access the website acceleration.startupfarm.com.br. Teams must have at least two members available to be present in São Paulo during the five-week full-time program. The program accepts applications until July 10.

Startup Farm is one of the largest accelerators in Latin America. It has already supported more than 200 startups, which together raised more than US$ 100 million in investments and have an aggregate market value of more than R$ 3.3 billion. Six startups in the portfolio have already been incorporated by other companies, the most recent being One Cloud, acquired in April by Tivit. By placing the entrepreneur as the central axis of its activities, Startup Farm offers the entrepreneurs served in its programs access to a wide network of mentors and facilitators who, together with their institutional partners, academics, large companies and investors, have generated successful cases in the Brazilian and international market, such as EasyTaxi, WorldPackers, Social Miner, Nexer, NetShow.me, UpPoints, InfoPrice, Beauty Date, among many others.
