Startup Farm, the largest startup accelerator in Latin America, announced on June 16 the winning companies of the 10th edition of the Acceleration Program. There were five intense weeks of creation, development and improvement of 14 digital businesses.
 
Eight startups arrived at DemoDay and made the final presentation of their projects to a panel of investors, who chose the three best companies: Worldpackers (1st place), Yoozon (2nd place) and Lar 21 (3rd place), with honorable mention for Coletivo .
 
This was the first time that the program was focused on B2B startups that developed software solutions. Winning companies may also be invited to participate in IBM SmartCamp Brasil 2014, an exclusive event that brings together entrepreneurs, investors and mentors and provides access to high-level consultants and a direct route to large investors in Brazil and abroad.
 
Startup Farm also announced its new organizational structure during Demo Day. From now on, it will have three well-defined business arms: StartupFarm.EDU, to manage the acceleration program already known in the ecosystem in the market and other open programs focused on education for entrepreneurship and fostering the ecosystem; StartupFarm.PRO, which will be responsible for projects designed for companies from all segments, universities and the public sector; and StartupFarm.VC, an acceleration boutique that will provide differentiated service to startups whose business model is highly disruptive and with global markets.
 
“This new model reinforces our pioneering position in the Brazilian technological entrepreneurial market and, with this, we believe that we will be able to strengthen our performance, generating more impact on the ecosystem and benefiting more people”, explained Alan Leite, CEO of Startup Farm. In the previous nine programs, held in six different cities, Startup Farm accelerated 117 startups.
