Applications for Ahead 11 run until February 26

The Startup Farm accelerator has just opened registrations for its first edition of the 2019 acceleration program – Ahead 11. The program has major institutional partners such as Banco do Brasil, Google For Entrepreneurs, Falconi Consultores de Result and Baptista Luz Advogados. Since 2011, the accelerator has already carried out 28 acceleration programs in several cities across the country, such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Florianópolis. This edition will take place in São Paulo.

The program will select startups to spend 6 months at an intense pace of acceleration. All editions have a wide network of mentors, investors and market experts. Startup Farm has accelerated since 2011 more than 300 startups, which have an aggregate market value of more than USD1 billion. In previous editions, several companies stood out and have been gaining market share in Brazil and worldwide, such as Hoobox Robotics, which received investment from one of the most prestigious hospitals in Latin America, Albert Einstein, Total Cross, the only Brazilian startup selected in the K -Startup Challenge of South Korea in 2017, Vérios, which raised 5.3 million in investment last year, and Instanteaser, which has 5 of the largest companies in the world as clients.

Those selected will be informed in April and the program will start on May 4th. "In recent years, due to economic factors and the maturation of the innovation and startup ecosystem, we have seen that interest in our program has grown, as has the quality of the founders. Our expectation this year is to receive even more startup applications with this one profile, and founders who can create high-potential businesses.”, said Alan Leite, CEO of Startup Farm.

How it works

The program has 3 modules that aim to provide all the necessary conditions for startups to develop their businesses:

?     Laser focus: Lasting 6 weeks, this stage is a “full-life” immersion for the founders to work focused on building their startup's business model, with support from Startup Farm and a wide network of mentors, partners and investors. This stage is in person and takes place in São Paulo.

?    Get Sales Done: In this 5-week module, the startup will work on building a sales strategy and define the main performance metrics for their business.

?     Fundraising: Lasting 15 weeks, the objective of this stage is for accelerated companies to structure a fundraising strategy, preparing a capital need projection and defining which investors make sense for their business.

After going through all these stages, startups will be able to present themselves to a panel of investors and executives from large corporations for the program's most anticipated event – the Demo Day. Startup Farm will be able to invest up to R$ 150,000 for up to 5% of the business as per valuation in the next round of investment. In addition, accelerated startups will also have access to R$1.2 million in benefits from partner companies and work tools.

Applications can be made until February 26 through the website: http://startup.farm/aceleracao/

Startup Farm was recognized as the best startup accelerator in Brazil by the Startup Awards 2017, organized by the Associação Brasileira de Startups (ABStartups). It has already accelerated more than 300 startups, which jointly raised more than US$ 100 million in investments and have an aggregate market value of more than US$ 1 billion. By placing the entrepreneur as the central axis of its performance, Startup Farm offers entrepreneurs served in its programs access to a wide network of mentors and facilitators who, together with their institutional partners, academics, large companies and investors, have generated success stories in the Brazilian and international market, such as Vérios, Collact, RankMyApp, EasyTaxi, WorldPackers, Social Miner, InfoPrice, Hoobox Robotics and Netshow.me.
