Entity will provide spaces for business in the capital of São Paulo to companies in the technological sector of Santa Catarina

São Paulo is the biggest cradle of business opportunities in Brazil. With this in mind, the Santa Catarina Association of Technology Companies (ACATE) has offices in three strategic regions of São Paulo: Berrini, Itaim Bibi and Vila Olímpia, within the CO.W Coworking Space. The new entrepreneurship centers will serve Santa Catarina businessmen as places to meet, allocate teams, install branches and hold events. The entity's headquarters is located at the Berrini unit and was inaugurated on April 4th.

ACATE represents the technological sector of Santa Catarina, which has an estimated revenue of R$ 11.4 billion and corresponds to approximately 5% of the State's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). There are 2,900 technology companies, with around 5,300 entrepreneurial partners and more than 47,000 employees. The entity's space in São Paulo will be a showcase for TI Santa Catarina.

“We know that São Paulo corresponds to a large part of the market for our companies. Therefore, we consider it essential to provide spaces for them to do business and feel at home by participating in these innovative environments designed to stimulate the collaborative economy, as is our innovation center in Florianópolis”, explains Daniel Leipnitz, president of Association.

For entrepreneur Urgel Augustin, from the Florianópolis startup KRP Diem, it is strategic to be able to count on spaces in São Paulo, where 60% of its customers are from. “As our largest customer base is from São Paulo, having a physical structure there will help us to expand our business and offer a closer service”, he says. Augustin has already used the Itaim Bibi unit for meetings and will return to promote an event with clients on site.

More information about the technological sector of Santa Catarina is available in the study ACATE Tech Report, produced by the Santa Catarina Association of Technology Companies in partnership with the big data company Neoway.
