The company bet on fluig and managed to reduce the time spent on material and customer registrations by 10 days

Sorocaba Refrescos, one of the largest manufacturers and regional distributors of Coca-Cola in Brazil, operating in 60 municipalities in the interior of the state of São Paulo, identified that the support of a technology that would contribute to the organization of processes and integration of information would be fundamental. .

In the diagnosis, the company found that it needed to overcome challenges at home. With an average of 150 entries per week, including customers and materials, this was the starting point for changing the entire operation. Therefore, the process was complex and the data was distributed between a market system and other legacies, in addition to the manual and phased registration routine, going through about 40 screens for each item to be completed, which required a lot of time for the areas to fill the data in the systems, causing rework and delays in the rest of the operation.

In addition, the company also did not track the processes, weakening the control of each step, since it was not possible to know in which sector the registration was stopped. With this scenario, every flow took approximately 10 to 15 days to complete.

When seeking traceability and better control of the operation, Sorocaba Refrescos found in fluig, TOTVS' digital transformation platform, the necessary support for its project, as the company was looking for a technology that was easy to integrate with its ERP and other systems. “Fluig is a continuous project, as it follows different foundations and needs of the company. All areas of Sorocaba Refrescos needed integrated, automated processes with traceability and mobility. The tool allowed all this, in addition to its use in several areas of the company, from HR to commercial and marketing”, says Gerson Agostinho, IT manager at Sorocaba Refrescos.

Fluig implantation

Carried out in partnership with Average, Fluig's official channel, the implementation took 6 months and involved employees from different areas and only two developers. The objective was to centralize the entire registry on a single screen, through the platform, allowing seven different areas to work in the same field in parallel. A notification system was also improved, which alerts a superior if the registration of the area is delayed.

The technology's intuitive interface made it easy to fill in the fields, in an intelligent and responsive way, quickly adapting to the type, requirement and priority of the information. The integration with the company's existing software also allowed greater versatility and quality so that the different systems could start a registration process without interference or inconsistencies. Another great time gain of the project was the possibility of moving the data in blocks for the registration of materials. Now, with fluig, 15 materials are handled at a time, streamlining the company's day-to-day activities, since before it could only carry out one by one. In the customer register, there was a reduction of 10 days in the inclusion in the system. “With more organized data and the entire process going through fluig, Sorocaba Refrescos has gained even more competitive advantages,” explains Agostinho.

With the platform, Sorocaba Refrescos achieved a better quality standard and increased its productivity, helping the company to end up with lengthy processes. “Sorocaba Refrescos' challenge of changing the experience of its employees and gaining scale and speed in the processes found in fluig the ideal solution. Creating a web layer on top of a core system and building on it your business rules and simpler and more agile processes is the new moment for the IT departments of companies. To navigate the Digital Transformation journey well, companies must adhere to agile management and innovation models, for which they can count on fluig”, highlights Mario Almeida, head of fluig, Analytics & Consulting at TOTVS.
