SONDA, one of the largest Latin American IT services companies, incorporated the operations and assets of the startup TR Process, specialized in process automation, and now has a Business Unit focused on RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and DPA (Digital Process Automation).
The merger agreement includes the Gold Partner certification of the automation software company Kofax and commercial partnerships with the companies Blueprism, Wacom, Uipath, Datacard - which will be transferred to SONDA, at a regional level - in addition to the startup's intellectual property, both in work methodology as well as the hiring of specialists who already work in more than 10 of the company's clients.
The new Digital Automation business unit will reinforce SONDA's Transformation Services Division, which already has Cybersecurity, Smart Cities, Cloud and Digital Experience solutions. TR Process President and Founder Ewaldo Del Valle will report to Christian Onetto, Vice President of Transformation Services at the company.
“Industry 4.0 is transforming all sectors of the economy. In this sense, digital automation becomes a critical enabler, being one of the fastest growing market segments in the world, with a rate of 61% in 2019. will lead to a prominent position in this market”, says Onetto.
According to consulting firm Gartner, 85% of large companies will have adopted some automation for repetitive tasks through software by 2022, such as cadastral validation, large-scale information transfer, systems integration and a multitude of applications.
“The acquisition of TR Process assets is another step by SONDA in the composition of a portfolio of solutions aimed at Digital Transformation. We already offer mature and award-winning solutions for the Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and IoT market. In addition to RPA and DPA, TR Process also develops projects for RDA (Robotic Desktop Automation), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Cognitive Computing. Del Valle brings 20 years of experience in this market. “TR Process's knowledge and experience as well as its agile methodology for digital automation will gain traction with the scope, capillarity and synergy with SONDA's extensive portfolio”, concluded Del Valle.
