Nelson Serranegra is SONDA's new Commercial Director for the Data Center and Cloud area. The executive will work at the company's office in Belo Horizonte (MG), where the company's largest data center is located in Brazil. Serranegra comes from Algar Tech, where he held a similar position for almost ten years. He has also worked for Oracle, as Regional Commercial Director for Minas Gerais, Midwest, North and Northeast.

At SONDA, the executive will have two main duties: national sales leader for Data Center and Cloud, leading a team of 20 professionals, in different regions of the country, and regional sales leader in Minas Gerais for the other solutions of the company.

“The BH data center is one of the most well-built in the country, both in terms of structure, technology and availability. With the growing demand in the cloud market, our potential for expansion is excellent ”, comments Serranegra.
The hiring of Serranegra is part of SONDA's strategy to offer a more consultative commercial approach. The executive will report to Viviane Ricci, SONDA's commercial vice president, with operational reporting to Ricardo Scheffer, vice president of ITS, Data Center and Cloud.

“Serranegra adds even more experience to our commercial team as he is very knowledgeable about the business needs of companies and trends in technology. This mix of knowledge will play a key role in maintaining the strong growth that we have recorded over the past two years ”, explains Viviane.

SONDA today has seven data centers spread across ten countries in Latin America, for cloud, host and colocation services. Of the total, three are located in Brazil, one in São Paulo and two in Minas Gerais.

The company is also in the process of completing its first tier IV data center in Chile, which should be completed by the end of this year. SONDA will be the first IT service provider in Latin America to have a data center, with tier IV certification and international validation by the Uptime Institute.
