The creation of a specialized business vertical is due to the importance that the segment has within SONDA's operations. “Retail customers have a double-digit representation in the revenue of our Brazilian operation and local businesses are well aligned with the company's global strategy to verticalize priority segments. Pamina Jardini arrives to be a fundamental piece in what we already have in development and to search for new recipe formats ”, explains Affonso Nina, CEO of Grupo SONDA Brasil.

The executive will respond locally to Affonso Nina, with matrix reporting to Maurizio Rinaldi, corporate vice president of Retail vertical, located in Chile. “SONDA works with an ecosystem vision, adding more operational efficiency and a better digital experience for consumers. This positioning contributes to bring more innovation to Retail, one of the segments of the economy that has been changing the most in recent years ”says Pamina.

SONDA's Retail portfolio ranges from traditional IT services, such as store support and maintenance, user support and tax automation solutions, to more innovative services, such as connectivity to store networks and shopping malls, as well as analytical solutions for competitive intelligence - which include demand planning and price optimization.

For this year, the company's bets include "autonomous stores", automated sales units, with artificial intelligence, that work without the need for human operation, available in strategic locations.

Another bet is the concept of “store as a service”, a solution that ranges from scanners, totems and self-checkout equipment, to IT infrastructure, such as servers, connectivity and security - all as a service, including monitoring and maintenance support. field. “This model fits perfectly with the moment we live in, because it contributes to the balance of the financial balance of Retail companiesexplains SONDA's retail vertical leader.

The new Business Unit is part of the structure formed by other essential verticals of SONDA in Brazil: Public Sector, Utilities, Transport and Financial Services. Pamina arrives to lead the new area, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the segment, with a focus on Sales and Marketing. The executive has an engineering degree from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), an MBA in Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), an MBA in International Trade from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a Master in Organizational Strategy from the Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) .
