The Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace has just added two new Cisco solutions to its portfolio. From now on, the Ingram Micro platform that allows resellers to buy, provision, manage and bill cloud services from the largest global providers in the IT market, also has Cisco Webex conferencing software and cloud security service. Cisco Umbrella. “Both offers are very adherent to all markets and companies of all sizes, and adoption grows exponentially”, says Alexandre Nakano, IoT director at Ingram Micro Brasil, confident that the facilities offered by the Ingram Micro marketplace will contribute to the even faster and greater success of Cisco Webex and Cisco Umbrella.
 
Cisco Webex is video conferencing software for wirelessly giving presentations, drawing on the digital whiteboard, making audio and video calls, and sharing notes. All of this is done in an all-in-one device with high definition audio and 4K camera. With just one click, you can share data and screen, and chat between work teams without specific Bluetooth and Wi-Fi configuration, with the security of encryption. “By offering video, voice, messaging and collaboration on a single platform and with quality and security, the Webex solution guarantees increased productivity and reduced costs”, adds Nakano. Cisco Umbrella is a cloud security platform against internet threats, easy to integrate with existing infrastructures. According to Nakano, it's the cloud's first line of defense against Internet threats. “It is a recognized security solution where customers can keep their business safe from intruders”, adds the director.
 
With the new Cisco offerings, the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace now offers 25 solutions in the categories of backup and disaster recovery, business applications, cloud activation services, communication and collaboration, education, infrastructure and security. They are software and services from ten different manufacturers and integrated 100%, which already serve more than 900 active partners and 1,600 registered partners. “With this structure, cloud sales via the marketplace are more than doubling year on year,” says Nakano. According to him, the Brazilian IT distribution market is going through a moment of transformation from traditional sales to offering solutions via the cloud, and Ingram Micro Brasil is succeeding in following this trend. “The Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace already has 180,000 seats and should soon reach the 200,000 seat mark,” says Nakano.
 
The Cisco Webex and Cisco Umbrella offering should contribute to this projection. “Our marketplace platform allows the partner to automate the entire process, from quotation to closing the deal. This amplifies the advantages of adopting the Webex and Umbrella “recurring revenue” offers, where the business model guarantees both monthly profitability for our partners and greater customer loyalty”, concludes Nakano.
