T-Systems Brasil, a German IT solutions and services provider, announces a solution for the manufacturing market based on T-Systems' RFID and IoT offerings and on the DELMIA ARISO system, Dassault Systèmes' software-based manufacturing platform for o Management of Manufacturing Operations.

Ricardo Michelan, Sales Director at T-Systems Brasil, emphasizes that the novelty uses all of T-Systems' knowledge in RFID and M2M. “The idea is to put this solution in the Delmia Apriso, taking to the market a ready-made RFID offer for companies that already use this MES solution”, he explains.

According to Michelan, a kit will be offered for RFID communication and data collection automation to customers who already have DELMIA ARISO implemented, improving data accuracy and streamlining processes.

Luiz Egreja, Responsible for the Manufacturing area of Dassault Systèmes for Latin America, recalls that the companies have been working together globally since 2000, focusing mainly on the Brazilian automotive market. “In recent years, the automotive sector has undergone profound changes to deal with more demanding markets. Production systems need more flexibility and agility to meet consumer demands while maintaining high quality standards and low costs. Our solution offers these benefits with low risk and short implementation time, because it is based on decades of experience of our companies working with leading companies in the sector”, explains the executive.

The launch brings together T-Systems' RFID and M2M expertise and Dassault Systèmes' worldwide leadership in the manufacturing market with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

Since the beginning of joint action in Brazil, the two companies have been working on the development of the Manufacturing 4.0 concept, based on the intense use of digitalization and automation of industrial processes, increasing productivity and adding more quality to the final products. “We are working together on the evolution of the automotive market and this partnership should grow, either through the rollouts of global projects or through the development of solutions focused on meeting the specific needs of the Brazilian market”, says Egreja.

The solution hits the market in the first half of 2017 and is intended for the automotive and manufacturing sectors in general, but its application can be even more comprehensive, since Delmia Apriso is present in segments such as beverages and food, cosmetics, retail and energy. “Any company in Brazil that already works with Delmia Apriso can absorb and use the solution”, explains Michelan.
