Solo Network launches technological and legal consultancy to adapt companies to the LGPD

A survey carried out by Akamai Technologies, an American company of services and performance of global internet traffic, pointed out that 64% of the companies are not in compliance with the LGPD (General Law for the Protection of Personal Data). The survey was conducted with more than 400 organizations operating in Brazil from different sectors such as retail, technology, entertainment, health, finance, logistics, communication and marketing.

These data portray the need for urgency in the initiation of the processes of adaptation to Law No. 13.709 / 18. Thinking about it, Solo Network, one of the largest corporate resellers and IT solutions implementer in the country, launched Solo LGPD Assessment & Compliance, a consultancy service whose objective is to perform a thorough assessment of the company's environment to define a diagnosis of its current level of compliance with the LGPD; map the personal data processing activities existing in the business and implement an action plan to comply with the law.

The mapping can be done in person, but, at the moment, it is being done remotely to offer more security to people. The average duration of the service varies between 6 and 8 months and the whole process is led by a lawyer specialized in privacy and protection of personal data, who has the support of a team of IT and information security professionals.

The successful execution of the project it allows the company to know with great precision its stage of maturity in terms of privacy and protection of personal data and to safely plan the next steps towards compliance with Brazilian legislation.
