SoftwareONE, a pioneer in Software Portfolio Management, announces an update to PyraCloud – a solution that manages software portfolios from on-premise to the end-to-end cloud, highlighting the improvements that will make the platform more user-friendly. With these updates, PyraCloud now provides information and insights into software planning and administration, simplifying the annual Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA) product allocation process for each specific business unit, as well as tools that allow customers to plan and manage continuously future software updates.

The new features provide visibility into cloud resources, showing who and when they are used, providing better governance, budget and spending management across all cloud providers. With these enhancements, organizations can meet the required speed and efficiency requirements.

PyraCloud's new features have six main benefits:

• Renewal Manager – Allows customers to continuously plan and manage future software upgrades, such as customers who want to manage expiration dates based on dates, prioritizing contract terms most important to negotiation. It also provides details of which products are included in these updates. Through this support, Pyracloud proactively manages software updates, placing customers in a privileged position based on different business needs;

• EA True-up Module Update – significant updates have been made to the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA) True-Up Module, making it simpler to use:

– EA Wizard Setup – simplifies the EA customer capture process and the information associated with this agreement;

– EA Asset Allocation – facilitates the quantitative allocation process of EA products for each specific business unit;

– EA Reporting – simplifies the method of reporting on how Microsoft Enterprise Agreement products are being used in the organization by users and administrators;

• Persona based dashboards – is a compilation of blocks that provide relevant information and data from a variety of sources in real time. The goal is to provide an instant copy of the most relevant information allowing users to make decisions based on trusted information;

• Notification Hub – With Notification Hub PyraCloud provides a centralized location for users to set and manage notifications for all of Pyracloud's own functions. The initial release will have 16 features added to the microservice, with more planned in the near future;

• Cloud Tenant Setup – This activation service will assist customers in setting up Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA) Azure subscriptions for PyraCloud, thus ensuring the necessary permissions are acquired for cloud management.

"Controlling Pyracloud is even easier with the updates and optimization of the platform's functionalities", comments Flávio Palestino, Country Leader at SoftwareONE Brasil. “As organizations move into a dynamic, multi-cloud world, companies find it increasingly difficult to take control of their environment. benefit of the platform", concludes Palestino.
