The Israeli company Omek Interactive has developed software that makes it possible for the user to control various activities without touching anything, such as, for example, automatically pausing, with a gesture, a movie that the person is watching on the notebook when the phone rings. It is an optical “brain” that allows the user to interact naturally with existing devices – from computers to cameras to cars.

“Instead of continuing to add peripheral devices to advance the PC industry, we want to do away with these additional devices,” says Janine Kutliroff, CEO of Omek. “We want to get people to interact with computers in a much more natural way, allowing them to understand what they want. And that intelligence represents true innovation”, declared the executive.
