The end of the free issuance of Electronic Invoices (NF-e), announced by the Secretary of Finance of the State of São Paulo (Sefaz), should intensify in the coming months the search for accountants and entrepreneurs for alternatives to keep their tax obligations up to date. The software for this function is an economical and safe way out and also adds functionalities, such as the automatic calculation of taxes.

Although many companies issue invoices using the free method, the application download will no longer be updated, which will soon make the system obsolete. In this context, the Treasury Department itself recommended that customers seek new solutions in the market.

For Sage, a leader in business management systems, payments, accounting and issuance of invoices, the use of software as an alternative to the free issuer of NF-e gives advantages to accountants and business administrators, such as faster registration, in addition to storage and process control via the cloud. “The solution we offer is Sage One, a fully online platform that issues notes, not only for products, but also for the provision of services, in a simple and agile way. On average, Sage One is five times faster than the current Sefaz app,” says Jorge Santos Carneiro, president of Sage in Brazil. The software is the only one on the market that already includes the digital certificate (one of the requirements of the Federal Revenue) without the need for a separate contract, and issues service notes for the largest number of locations in Brazil, covering more than 250 cities .

In line with the trend of integrating business processes, Sage One can also be associated with other Sage financial, accounting, commercial and inventory management systems, promoting total business control. “This is yet another benefit to accountants and entrepreneurs, as it contributed to increased productivity, organization and efficiency”, adds Jorge Santos Carneiro. From now on, anyone using the Sefaz app will be able to automatically import their data into Sage One. The issuance of notes in the tool is unlimited and it is still possible to archive documents for five years.
