Software AG announces the release of ARIS 10, with new features that help companies keep up with the challenges of the digital economy. The new offerings include advances in visualization and dashboard generation, as well as critical tools that help companies prepare to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – European regulation related to data protection – and to maximize investments. in IoT.
ARIS 10 includes the release of ARIS Aware, which guarantees transparency to companies, as it allows them to take advantage of visual analytics and make the best decisions based on reliable data. The product is equipped with templates for common business process management scenarios, including a center of excellence, enterprise architecture management, customer experience management, and process performance management. These templates can be extended and customized according to individual needs, allowing companies to combine data from different sources – with contextual visualization and KPI storytelling, in dashboard charts.

ARIS 10 supports Software AG's GDPR Framework, the first line of defense for GDPR compliance. The product includes all the capabilities that organizations need to comply with this new European regulation. From transparency in processes and data to GDPR impact assessment, this new framework provides the necessary tools for insights, analysis and planning. For risk mitigation and governance, it offers surveys, policies and principles, controls and audits, as well as incident control.
IoT ready
Also new to ARIS 10 is ARIS for IoT, a new modeling method that supports IoT initiatives from the design phase through implementation and management. ARIS for IoT enables IoT architectures to enrich business processes with smart objects, sensors and devices. In addition to documentation, the product also allows the analysis of the impact on business models and processes.
New additional features of ARIS 10
• Process Performance Analysis and Mining, supported by ARIS Process Performance Manager (PPM), which includes advanced visualization and is integrated with other ARIS components. Together with ARIS Aware, ARIS PPM is the solution for total process control;
• ARIS Connect includes extensive user interface improvements, customizable items, as well as collaboration and reporting advancements, and is the foundation for a more comprehensive Enterprise Management System for many customers;
• ARIS for SAP solutions offers extensive support for SAP Solution Manager 7.2, including test design for best-in-class SAP solutions;
• Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) management now benefits from improved reporting and usability features, with a complete offering available in the cloud.
