SOFTSUL invites software and IT services companies to join the eighth group (G 8) for the implementation and evaluation of the MPS.BR Program modules: MPS-SW (Software) and MPS-SV (Services). SOFTSUL will provide economic support to G8 companies, from 25% on the reference value of the implementation of the models.

Based on the success obtained with the formation of the seven previous groups, and following the trends of the world software market, SOFTSUL innovates in the implantation model of the eighth group, based on a framework elaborated by the entity's consultants, totally based on agile. Group 8 will be formed by a minimum of 03 and a maximum of 05 companies.

Following this agile implementation, companies that will be part of this group will be able to choose to implement MPS-SW, MPS-SV or both together. Companies will also be offered an optional consulting module to prepare for the CERTICS product certification, which is already widely considered in public notices and bids by the federal government.

There will be a contribution from SOFTSUL so that the costs of implementing the models are lower, enabling more companies to access this important software quality milestone. In the scope of the project, each company will be able to choose the models of its interest. However, the more elements selected, the greater the financial advantages for the company.

Another innovation of this group is that it can be formed by companies that wish to implement processes for any of the levels of the models, from level G (initial) to level C (equivalent to level 3 of the CMMI). This will be possible due to the consulting model being used by SOFTSUL, the base on agile methods and the experience accumulated by SOFTSUL since the creation of the MPS.BR program.
