The Association for the Promotion of Brazilian Software Excellence – Softex will hold the Open House Softex – Nova Gestão 2013 event on July 30th in Brasília to present the changes in the organization's administration, which underwent a restructuring, aiming to expand its contribution to the growth and strengthening of the software and IT services industry.
Members of the federal and state governments, businessmen, university representatives, journalists and opinion makers will participate in the event, which will discuss topics such as the importance of the Brazilian IT industry in the national economy, the partnership between Softex and Apex-Brasil, the TI Maior Program, the sector's new opportunities and challenges, among other topics.
Softex has been running, since 1996, support, development, promotion and development initiatives to boost the Brazilian software and IT services industry. Appointed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) to act as manager of the Program for the Promotion of Excellence in Brazilian Software – Softex Program, the entity benefits more than two thousand companies throughout the country through a network formed by 20 agents regional.
