Initiative aimed at companies benefiting from the Informatics Law aims to stimulate the transformation of the economic matrix in the Manaus Free Trade Zone

 
 

In order to develop the entrepreneurship ecosystem of the Amazon region, Softex (Association for the Promotion of Excellence in Brazilian Software) and the Manaus Free Trade Zone Superintendence (Suframa), announced the entry into operation of the Innovative Entrepreneurship Priority Program (PPEI) ).
 
Comprehensive in its proposal, it also has among its main goals to implement entrepreneurial education programs and actions; foster entrepreneurship in undergraduate, graduate and teacher training; carry out actions to encourage ideation and prototyping and prepare companies to operate in open innovation.
 
PPEI is an initiative of the Committee for Research and Development Activities in the Amazon, inserted in the R&D area of the Manaus Free Trade Zone Superintendence (Suframa), linked to the Ministry of Economy. Responsible for the policies to strengthen the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM) and to stimulate the development of its area of operation, Suframa identifies regional potentialities and creates conditions to transform them into business opportunities.
